Redmine Kune - Defect #195 (New): Permissions problem in group-space with shared docshttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1952012-02-28T09:56:08ZAnonymous
Sequence:

I create a new doc in my personal space

I invite Rana to my doc (through (+) button)

I edit it

Rana can see and edit it from her user-space, normally

Rana can see but NOT edit it from her group-space. No "Edit" button appears. She sees the content but cannot edit it.

Probably she has view permissions but not edit permissions...
Kune - Enhancement #194 (New): Users to invite to a doc, should be scroll listhttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1942012-02-28T09:56:07ZAnonymous
If I create a doc and want to invite a friend, I click on the (+) symbol and it asks me to type username. This has several inconveniences:

I might know the name of the person (Rana García) but not know her username (renita)

As I can add any username (not just my buddies) I might miss-spell the username and add someone else. E.g. I add "rana" thinking its her username... and another person is added

Solution:
Implement the same scroll list that has the search bar, but just for users (filtering out the groups). Optimally, prioritizing buddies in the list, as stated in issue #189 and its comments: http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ticket/189
Kune - Enhancement #192 (New): Add to the kune translator a stats summary about completenesshttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1922012-02-20T21:04:53ZVicente J. Ruiz Juradovjrj@ourproject.org

Something like:

French 99%
Spanish 99%
Italian 25%
Kune - Defect #191 (New): Chat stays logged in, and user appears logged in, after closing Kunehttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1912012-02-17T23:51:58ZAnonymous

Scenario:
- Samer logs in
- Samer appears in chat as logged in (green)
- Samer closes tab of Kune
- (hours pass)
- Tarek sees in his Gmail how Samer is connected in the chat (green)
- Tarek speaks to Samer... but Samer cannot read it, because long time ago that he left Kune (although didn't log out).
- When Samer comes back to Kune, opening it in a tab, Kune asks anyway to re-login as it seems it disconnected automatically (but the XMPP chat was not).
Kune - Enhancement #190 (New): More representative "browser window title" of Kune spaceshttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1902012-02-13T20:52:40ZAnonymous
Depending on which space I am located, the browser tab (or window) is named in a different way:

"Home" in Home

"Inbox" in User Space

"samer:documents" in Group Space

"samer:documents" in Public Space

"(1 conversation unread)" blinking, if a chat was received

Those names are not really representative, as they don't provide a name of the actual "Kune" I'm using. Besides, Group Space and Public Space have identical names. I'd change them to (replace Eurosur by Kune.cc or equivalent):

"Eurosur Home" in Home

"Eurosur Inbox" in User Space

"Eurosur samer:documents" in Group Space

"Eurosur samer:documents (preview)" in Public Space

"(1 chat unread)" blinking, if a chat was received

Kune - Enhancement #187 (New): "Names" should be allowed to be repeatedhttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1872012-02-11T10:30:10ZAnonymous

When registering a new user, I understand the "username" must be unique. However, it also shows an error (This name in already in use. Please try with a different name) when writing a Name already in use. I don't agree. If two users want to have the same name (Javier Garcia) but different username, it should be allowed.
Kune - Defect #186 (New): Doc not showing properly for non-membershttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1862012-01-14T02:21:19ZAnonymous

Group X has a document, and spreads the URL of the document. E.g. http://kune.cc/#comunes.docs.427.341

If an anonymous user connects, the user sees: two avatars on top of each other; text without fonts/sizes (all uniform and big size font).

If a logged in user connects, but he/she is not member of the group X, the same result happens.

Only if a logged in user and member of the group opens the link, he/she can see properly the document.

Kune - Defect #183 (New): More detailed searchhttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1832011-12-29T13:44:31ZVIllaboa -malpasso@gmail.com

It would be very nice to have a more evolved searching system allowing to specify where to watch for, what kind of info and so on. Could be a good idea to add an "Advanced search" below
Kune - Enhancement #179 (New): Archive of old chat conversationshttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1792011-12-15T13:54:01ZVicente J. Ruiz Juradovjrj@ourproject.org

Provide a way to read old conversations in pair chat and rooms:

Two possible ways:
- Via a jabber server plugin
- Archiving conversations in waves (that later can be read/searched etc).
Kune - Defect #178 (New): Chat room scroll up the conversation.http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1782011-12-15T02:02:52Zjhonny5@gmail.com -jhonny5@gmail.com

When you move the chat-window around the screen, the chat room automatically scroll the conversation up.
Kune - Enhancement #170 (New): Simple is better, and I've got a good idea how to do it!http://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1702011-11-26T15:12:27Zogoldberg@gmail.com -ogoldberg@gmail.com

I really love what you guys are doing here, but you have a major usability problem. Your interface is just too complicated and too confusing, and it looks old. When I show Kune to my friends they don't understand it, and they think it is "primitive"--which is the opposite of the truth!

This can be fixed! I have a great idea to make things really simple and easy to understand without compromising any functionality.

What if there was only page to interact with and it had three columns?

1. one narrow column on the far left listing the different groups (one group could be "all waves", one group could be "public waves", and then whatever groups the user adds--and a plus sign to make new groups)

2. another narrow column that lists the different types of waves within that group (barter, document, wiki, tasks, etc. and a plus sign to create a new 'type' of wave)--similar to the one currently on the left, but with the ability to add new "types".

3. a third column (wider) that lists the waves in that group, or the currently selected wave, depending on whether a wave is selected (the same way it is now)

I think that would be ideal. Everything would be much more simple and easy to understand.

What do you think?
Kune - Enhancement #148 (New): Add a contextual menu to (Wave) avatarshttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1482011-11-04T13:53:20ZVicente J. Ruiz Juradovjrj@ourproject.org

In (Wave) avatars add also a contextual menu (chat, etc). Now this works only in group space avatars.

Original comment by Javier in Spanish
"Debería haber un menú textual sobre las imágenes de usuario que te permitiera hacer acciones sobre él, chatear, amigarle etc. (me parece que solo aparece cuando ya es tu amigo)."

Currently It's not trivial to patch this wave code but...
Kune - Enhancement #147 (New): Add again the multimedia gallery toolhttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1472011-11-02T23:39:19ZVicente J. Ruiz Juradovjrj@ourproject.org

But using waves only for comment the contents below... the main doc will be the video/image/etc.
Kune - Defect #145 (New): Wave websocket still connected after user sign-outhttp://redmine.ourproject.org/issues/1452011-10-20T17:21:38ZVicente J. Ruiz Juradovjrj@ourproject.org
